Harriet Mulvaney

Harriet Mulvaney
Harriet is a two-time SCAD survivor, having experienced spontaneous coronary artery dissection in 2014 and 2022.
At the time of her first SCAD she was working as an HR Director while raising three young children, and made the difficult decision to leave that role to focus on her health and family. She was delighted to be part of the early days of Beat SCAD, supporting with a talk on work-related matters at the second conference.
She now works full time in an NHS education team and brings both professional experience and lived insight to supporting and advocating for people affected by SCAD in Wales. Outside of work, she enjoys family life, cooking and all the benefits of living in the beautiful Wye Valley.
Harriet joined the Trustee Board in 2018 and served for five years, stepping down in 2023 and returned to the Board in 2026.
