It’s a great opportunity for spontaneous coronary artery dissection patients, families and friends to meet, network and support each other, as well as to raise money to help Beat SCAD continue its work.
Thanks to our incredible supporters, Beat SCAD has already funded groundbreaking research, helping to uncover the causes of SCAD and improve patient outcomes.
This year we are raising £25,000 to help extend the current Clinical Research Fellow post into 2027, ensuring this vital research continues. You are invited to take part in our newest fundraiser
After the walk, Dr David Adlam, who is leading the UK research, will provide the latest research update and there will be time for questions – don’t miss it!
Venue: The walk will be held at Beaumont Park which is next to t he NSPCC National Training Centre, 3 Gilmour Close, Leicester LE4 1EZ – the venue used for Beat SCAD’s conference in October 2025 – and the research update will take place in the NSPCC building.
Time: The Beat SCAD team will be at the venue from 11.30 – please join us before we set off for the walk at noon.
Walk: The walk will start at noon and last for approximately 40 minutes to an hour. Please download this pdf for more details about the walk start/finish point and route. Please note that, although dogs may be allowed in Beaumont Park, they cannot be taken into the NSPCC Training Centre.
