After six amazing years, it’s the end of an era for Beat SCAD as co-founder Karen Rockell steps down as Trustee.
Karen has always been at the heart of the charity, working tirelessly on the Beat SCAD mission to raise awareness, provide support and fundraise for research.
She has generously shared an array of skills and talents. Her vast business knowledge, ability to network, make contacts and build relationships has helped us push forward in many areas. Her endless enthusiasm and ability to seek opportunities, her ability to communicate with and educate a variety of audiences through public speaking and training sessions, and her endless ideas will be missed.
Beat SCAD would not be where we are today without Karen’s hard work, commitment and dedication to the cause. We are extremely grateful to Karen for all her contributions and Trustees Rebecca, Debbie, Harriet and Sarah are also thankful that Karen will continue to support the charity and assist with projects as a volunteer.
