Beat SCAD has no paid staff and is run by volunteers in their spare time. The more people who help the more we'll be able to do. If you are a SCAD patient and have benefited from our services and support, once you feel you have sufficiently recovered from your SCAD, please consider 'paying it forward' and using your skills to help other patients.

The list below is not exhaustive, so if you have experience and skills you think could help us, please get in touch.

We need…

Patients to tell their stories to groups of healthcare professionals, fundraisers, grant writers, marketers, copywriters, social media experts and database managers and more!

We are currently looking to fill the following volunteer roles.

Some of the roles incorporate various skills and knowledge and could be done by more than one volunteer, so don’t be put off if you don’t have all the things listed below! If you have some of the skills and knowledge we’re looking for, please get in touch so we can look at putting teams together.

Tell your story to healthcare professionals

Patient stories are a powerful way of bringing the personal aspect of SCAD to the fore and show the real patient experience. If you would like to tell your story or talk about SCAD to groups of healthcare professionals, either in person or online, please get in touch.
